Mondelēz International Elevates Morolake Emokpaire to the Position of Marketing Lead, West Africa

An American multinational confectionery, food, holding, beverage, and snack food company, Mondelez International has elevated a renowned marketing professional, Morolake Emokpaire to the position of Marketing Lead, West Africa.

In her new position, she will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that elevate the brand, drive customer engagement, and accelerate business growth.

Morolake is a passionate and creative individual with a genuine love for brand building as well as an advocate for insight-driven business operations and excellence in execution.

Prior to her new position, she was the Category Manager of the same company where she was charged with the responsibilities of business management, brand and marketing management, annual and strategic business planning, innovation and consumer insight and strategy planning/execution.

Morolake started her career at Nestle S.A as a Consumer Services Specialist where she developed and drove the execution of BTL consumer marketing campaigns and events pan Nigeria in line with the brand’s Integrated Commercial Plan.

She then moved to May & Baker Nig. Plc as the Brand Manager where she was responsible for developing the annual Mimee Business Plan to reflect projections for the business growth and design the roadmap to achieving them. She also designs Marketing strategies and assigns objectives to drive volume and value growth.

At Indonesian Biscuit Company(INBISCO), a subsidiary of PT Mayora TBK, she served as the Brand Manager, Candy Division with the role of overseeing the candy business and coordinating stated category marketing and communication activities as well as developing marketing/ brand plans for the candy business category and ensure proper execution and measurement of all stated consumer and trade activities.

Morolake also worked at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc as the Marketing Innovation Manager and Brand Manager, Ball Foods and NPD.

She holds an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Lagos and a Marketing Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
