Ng’ang’a is a dynamic marketing leader, currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at Jumia Kenya, where she spearheads strategic initiatives that drive business growth, fortify brand equity, and elevate market visibility.

With over 15 years of progressive experience across leading FMCG, technology, and e-commerce brands, Ng’ang’a is recognized for her innovative, customer-centric approach and ability to deliver measurable impact in highly competitive environments.

Since joining Jumia Kenya in 2019, Ng’ang’a has held several key positions, rapidly rising through the ranks from Head of Marketing for Jumia Food to Head of Engagement, then Head of Brand, and ultimately CMO. Currently, she leads a team of 22 marketing professionals and collaborates regionally to ensure alignment and operational excellence.

As a member of the Kenya Executive Committee (EXCO), Ng’ang’a plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s vision and driving sustainable growth, positioning Jumia as Kenya’s preferred online shopping destination.

Ng’ang’a’s notable achievements at Jumia include orchestrating high-impact campaigns such as Black Friday, launching the “Super Brand Day” concept, and leveraging influencer marketing to generate significant order volumes. Her strategic blend of ATL and BTL channels, data-driven decision-making, and financial stewardship has consistently optimized ROI and brand visibility.

Before Jumia, Ng’ang’a held senior marketing roles at IFFCO Group, Wananchi Group, and Nestlé, where she led regional brand expansions, product launches, and integrated campaigns across multiple African markets. Her leadership is marked by a passion for innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and building strong emotional connections with consumers.
