With over a decade at Interswitch, Dr. Cherry Eromosele, Group Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Interswitch Group, has driven transformative brand and marketing strategies across Africa, enhancing brand equity, customer acquisition, and sustainable growth.

Also serving as the Executive Vice President, Dr.Eromosele is a dynamic leader in fintech marketing, . Since joining Interswitch, Dr. Eromosele has held pivotal roles, including Group Chief Marketing Officer and Group Chief Product & Marketing Officer.

Her leadership has delivered a landmark brand transformation program, defining brand purpose and architecture while ensuring seamless marketing governance across Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, and Gambia. A key achievement includes designing an empirical Return-on-Marketing-Investment (ROMI) model tailored for fintech, now adopted group-wide for enhanced accountability.

Dr. Eromosele’s strategic vision has institutionalized robust processes to boost brand awareness and transaction growth, while her stakeholder engagement initiatives have strengthened Interswitch’s corporate reputation. She has championed CSR programs aligned with education, entrepreneurship, and leadership, reinforcing the company’s social impact.

Before Interswitch, Dr. Eromosele held senior roles at global giants. As Head of Marketing, Nutritionals at GSK, she drove strategic growth for the Nutritional category, managing cross-functional teams and innovation delivery.

At MTN Nigeria, as Senior Manager Segment Marketing, she spearheaded market penetration strategies, leveraging consumer insights to boost profitability. Earlier, as Marketing Manager for Guinness at Diageo, she managed brand agendas in Nigeria, collaborating with regional teams in London.
