Israel Obatunde to speak at African Beauty Summit & Awards in UK

Israel Obatunde, Chief Executive Officer of Ideas Origin Media (IOM), has been announced as a panelist and facilitator at the prestigious African Beauty Summit Awards, taking place on September 21, 2025, at The Assembly House in Norwich, United Kingdom.

Since its inception in 2022, Ideas Origin Media has carved a niche as a creative powerhouse, disrupting the advertising and communications space with bold ideas and flawless execution. For Obatunde, this recognition is both a validation of his agency’s impact and an opportunity to share insights with global industry leaders.

Speaking in a recent media interview, Obatunde highlighted some of the agency’s successes, including a major campaign for Jack Daniel’s. The project, built around the brand’s Jack and the Beats platform, featured a collaboration with celebrity chef Hilda Baci and delivered record-breaking attendance numbers.

Asked about what gives Ideas Origin Media its edge in an increasingly competitive industry, Obatunde emphasized the company’s research-driven approach:
“The best way to solve a client’s problem is by understanding their target audience. It’s one thing to be fantastic at what you do, but it’s another to answer a brief brilliantly. At IOM, we make it a priority to get insights right and always execute with excellence,” he said.

Obatunde, who honed his skills at agencies such as Insight Publicis and also trained at Miami Ad School, explained how his past experiences shaped the structure and culture of Ideas Origin Media. He underscored the importance of collaboration, transparency, and emotional intelligence in delivering consistent results for clients.

“Some agencies struggle with aligning creative, strategy, and brand management, but we built IOM with a structure that encourages seamless collaboration. Transparency within the team also helps us avoid unnecessary conflicts and maintain professionalism when dealing with clients,” he noted.

The African Beauty Summit Awards is a landmark gathering that celebrates innovation, creativity, and leadership across industries shaping Africa’s cultural and economic landscape. Obatunde’s participation signals the growing influence of Nigeria’s creative sector on the international stage.
