Laolu Thomas appointed new Head of Marketing & Media Relations at Arridex

Laolu Thomas has been appointed as the new Head of Marketing & Media Relations at Arridex, marking a significant step in her distinguished communications career.

Thomas announced her new role on LinkedIn, expressing excitement about joining the company in a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos State. She officially assumed the role in June 2026.

With over a decade of experience in strategic communications, public relations, and corporate affairs, Thomas brings a wealth of expertise to Arridex. Her appointment comes after four years as Senior Public Relations Manager at MultiChoice Nigeria, where she served from August 2022 to July 2026.

Before MultiChoice, Thomas held several senior roles across leading organisations in Nigeria. She served as Corporate Communications & Partnerships Lead at 9PSB_NG, Senior Communications Manager at Pagatech Limited, and Marketing Communications & Corporate Engagement Manager at Ajua .

Earlier in her career, she spent more than six years at CMC Connect Burson-Marsteller (and its predecessor, CMC CONNECT), rising to the position of Deputy Group Head of Brands & Corporate PR. In these roles, she managed high-profile clients, coordinated major accounts, developed comprehensive communications strategies, and executed impactful events and campaigns, including the TECNO brand, Lagos Water Regatta, Ogun State Investors Forum, and StarTimes.

Known for her strong skills in presentations, interpersonal relations, reputation management, and business development, Thomas has consistently delivered strategic communications plans that enhance brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and organisational impact.

Her move to Arridex is expected to strengthen the company’s marketing and media relations capabilities as it continues to grow in Nigeria’s competitive business landscape.
