White & Case LLP Appoints Jason Hill as Chief Marketing Officer

Global law firm, White & Case LLP has announced the appointment of Jason Hill as Chief Marketing Officer. With extensive experience in leading global marketing organizations, Jason brings a wealth of expertise in strengthening top global brands, reaching discerning and influential audiences, supporting recruiting, and creating programs that drive revenue.

Based in New York, Jason will spearhead the Firm’s efforts to drive growth and enhance its external reputation. His responsibilities will include oversight of branding and creative services, business development, client service programs, marketing technology, and the communications teams.

Jason joins White & Case from Goldman Sachs, where he served as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Global Marketing. His impressive career also includes leadership roles in brand marketing and media at BlackRock and GE.

“White & Case has demonstrated its belief that marketing is accretive to building a world-renowned brand and contributing to commercial growth,” said Jason. “Marketing today requires an understanding of technology and messaging, data and creativity—and marketing leaders need a foot in both camps to drive reputation and revenue together. I am excited to build on the Firm’s considerable success, bringing my experience from an adjacent industry similarly driven by client service and thought leadership”,  he said.

White & Case Chair, Heather McDevitt, expressed confidence in Jason’s ability to contribute to the Firm’s growth, stating, “Jason’s superior credentials and track record give us confidence that marketing will continue to be a strategic contributor to the Firm’s growth. We welcome his leadership and fresh perspectives.”

Jason succeeds Michael Hertz, who served as White & Case CMO since 2010 and will transition to a Senior Advisor role with the Firm. Heather added, “We are deeply grateful to Michael for his years of dedicated service, during which he played an integral role in elevating our brand and driving innovation across the Firm.”
