Britannian names Puneet Das CMO, promotes Siddharth Gupta to VP-Marketing

Britannia Industries Limited has appointed Puneet Das as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and elevating Siddharth Gupta to Vice President – Marketing.

The appointments were approved by the company’s Board of Directors and will take effect in February 2026. Das’ appointment is effective from February 16, while Gupta’s promotion took effect on February 1.

Puneet Das joins Britannia with over 24 years of experience in Indian and international fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) markets, including Africa, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. His career includes senior leadership roles at companies such as Marico Limited, PepsiCo India, GSK Consumer Healthcare India, and Tata Consumer Products Limited. He has worked on global and Indian brands like 7Up, Boost, Horlicks, Tata Tea and Tetley.

Siddharth Gupta has been with Britannia since 2018, where he currently leads marketing for the company’s Biscuit, Wafer and Snack portfolio, a core revenue driver for the business. With nearly 20 years of experience in brand management, strategy, innovation, communication, customer marketing and sales, Gupta previously spent more than a decade at Colgate Palmolive, starting as a Management Trainee in 2006 and later heading marketing for key toothpaste categories including Freshness, Whitening and Sensitivity.
