Vuga Music, Indvstry Clvb launch Indvstry Exchange to propel African artists globally

Vuga Music Inc., the powerhouse behind Africa’s rising independent artists, has teamed up with Indvstry Clvb to launch Indvstry Exchange, a bold cross-continental program designed to catapult African creativity into the global spotlight.

Dubbed “Building Beyond Borders,” the initiative will connect top and emerging talents in music, fashion, art, and digital storytelling through a series of high-impact events in Nairobi (December 5), Cape Town (December 12), and London. The program features curated panels, exclusive networking brunches, and immersive cultural experiences aimed at forging lasting collaborations between African creatives and the global diaspora.

As the official music partner, Vuga Music will lead industry-defining panels in both Nairobi and Cape Town, diving deep into critical topics like music publishing, global collaboration, ownership rights, and the future of African sound on the world stage. The lineup includes heavyweights such as Silvastone, Anyiko Owoko, DJ Melody Kane, Solo’s World, Sixiazi, and other trailblazers shaping Africa’s cultural narrative.

“This partnership is the heartbeat of our mission,” said Ralph B. Amachree, President of Vuga Music Inc. “We’re not just simplifying the business of music — we’re helping African artists build careers that break borders and redefine global culture. Indvstry Exchange is where those connections are born.”

The program is spearheaded by Steve Othoro, founder of The Discovery Club and Vision 21 Sports Management & Consulting. A former U.S. professional basketball player turned marketing veteran, Othoro has orchestrated major campaigns for brands like Sprite, Barclays, and Tusker through Ogilvy One Worldwide and Omicron Sports & Entertainment. Through his Aspire Football Dreams initiative, he now nurtures talent across 10 African nations — bringing a unique blend of sports, marketing, and creative strategy to the table.

From virtual deep dives to in-person brunches and content creation days, every element of Indvstry Exchange is engineered to spark collaboration, amplify storytelling, and build a stronger, more connected African creative ecosystem.
