VCCP hits historic $1bn milestone to lead global creative agencies

VCCP, the fiercely independent global challenger network, has achieved a historic milestone, topping $1 billion in new client media billings for the first time and claiming the No. 1 spot among creative agencies worldwide for 2025.

According to the final 2025 global creative agency new-business league published by Campaign Red, VCCP delivered an impressive $1.027 billion in media billings from new clients, marking its biggest and best year to date. This standout performance comes amid a challenging landscape of holding company consolidation and industry disruption, highlighting the agency’s resilience and innovative edge.

The surge was propelled by VCCP’s expanding footprint in the United States, anchored by the high-profile win of telecoms giant Spectrum—one of the largest pitches of the year. Momentum carried into key markets globally, with the UK securing major accounts including British Gas and Direct Line, alongside a global remit for Barclays.

Campaign Red’s rankings, based on verified data from agencies and market intermediaries, underscore VCCP’s dominance in a competitive field.

At the heart of this success is VCCP’s integrated, independent model, which unifies creative, media, PR, production, and AI capabilities under one roof. This approach enables the creation of enduring brand platforms that deliver tangible business value for clients.

The achievement builds on a banner year of accolades, including seven Cannes Lions, AdWeek’s International Agency of the Year, More About Advertising’s Agency of the Year, and Campaign’s Integrated Agency of the Year.

Julian Douglas, Group CEO of VCCP, attributed the triumph to the agency’s core strength: independence. “Independence is our superpower. For 24 years we’ve remained proudly independent, which means we can organise our business entirely around creating value for our clients. We invest where it matters, from AI to new markets, and build teams and technology where our clients need them. Crossing the $1bn mark in billings is a major milestone and a proud moment for our team, reflecting the trust clients place in our people and our integrated model.”
