Tropical General Investments (TGI) Appoints Oluwasinmidele Ogunwale as Brand Manager for its Rice and Homecare Products

Tropical General Investments (TGI) has appointed Marketing professional, Oluwasinmidele Ogunwale as the Brand Mnanager for its Rice and Homecare Products.

In his new role, Ogunwale is saddled with the responsibility of growing TGI’s rice brand, its other homecare products as well as growing market share and brand awareness, among other things.

He is passionate about being at the cutting edge of decision-making in a highly dynamic and challenging global environment where he can contribute efficiently and effectively to the overall objective and goals of the organization he finds himself.

Prior his appointment, he was a Brand Manager at Grand Oak Limited where he had the privilege of launching Korrect Bitters into the vibrant bitters market. He was also at the forefront of driving consumer engagement at the Afro beat party for Regal Deluxe London Dry Gin at the Remembrance for The Afrobeat Legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, amongst others.

Before then, he worked at The Place Nigeria as Assistant Brand Manager where he was responsible for coordination and project management of all New Products/Innovations. He also served at TINK Africa as a Marketing Development Manager where he played a key role in mining the needs of different stakeholders, synthesizing data and insights from multiple sources, inspiring and informing solutions for immediate implementation.

Ogunwale also worked at Brand Communicator as a Business Executive, where he was able to contribute to the growth of the platform before moving on to TINK Africa.

Other places he worked include SellMedia as the Account Manager, Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) as the Administrative Executive, and FCMB as the Direct Sales Entry.

Ogunwale is an alumnus of the Tai Solarin University where he bagged a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Education, Economics.
