Nigeria: Unilever Appoints Rene Madumere as Brand Manager for Knorr

Manufacturers of fast-moving consumer goods, Unilever Nigeria Plc has appointed Rene Madumere as the new Brand Manager for knorr.

Rene while making the announcement of his new appointment on his LinkedIn page said “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Brand Manager Knorr at Unilever”

Rene is a marketing professional with a strong background in campaign management, brand management, and consumer research; he is passionate about driving brand growth and enhancing market share.

His expertise lies in successfully launching innovative campaigns and leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

With a keen eye for market trends and consumer insights, he has a track record of making strategic decisions that lead to increased sales and profitability.

Prior to his elevation, he was the Territory Sales Manager of the same company.

Rene started his career at Unilever in 2016 as Quality Control Analyst. Thereafter, he was promoted to the position of Consumer and Marketing Insight (CMI) Assistant for Beauty and personal care Africa.

He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from Imo State University. He also has a Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom. Rene is skilled in Analytical skills, Consumer Research, Market Research, Interpreting, Planning and Organizing, Good Presentation Skills, Dual language and others. However, his fluency in both English and French allows him to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across international markets.
