Mouka Appoints Dimeji Osingunwa as Managing Director

Mouka Limited, Nigeria’s leading sleep solutions provider and a subsidiary of Dolidol International Group, has announced the appointment of Oladimeji Adekunle Osingunwa as its new Managing Director, effective March 17, 2026.

The appointment follows the resignation of Femi Fapohunda, whose exit became effective on March 16, 2026, after a period of mutual agreement with the company’s Board.

The Board of Directors expressed deep appreciation for Fapohunda’s impactful leadership and dedication to the organisation. During his tenure, Mouka successfully navigated one of the most challenging economic periods in Nigeria’s recent history, demonstrating resilience, operational excellence, and sustained growth. Under his leadership, the company strengthened its market position, expanded its share in the industry, and reinforced its reputation as a trusted household brand.

“Femi’s steady and strategic leadership ensured that Mouka not only weathered economic headwinds but emerged stronger and more competitive,” the Board stated. “We thank him for his invaluable contributions and wish him continued success in his future endeavours.”

Stepping into the role, Osingunwa brings a wealth of experience and deep industry knowledge. A seasoned commercial leader and respected figure in Nigeria’s manufacturing and FMCG landscape, he joined Mouka in 2016 as Chief Commercial Officer and has since played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth strategy and strengthening its market dominance.

Osingunwa’s career spans several multinational organisations, including Cadbury Nigeria Plc (now part of Mondelez International), SC Johnson, and Twinning Ovaltine. His expertise covers commercial strategy, route-to-market development, brand building, and sales leadership, consistently delivering strong business performance and sustainable growth.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Osingunwa is widely recognised for his people-centred leadership philosophy anchored on service, empowerment, and continuous development. His leadership style has helped drive high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within the organisation.

“Dimeji is a true son of the house,” the Board said. “His deep understanding of our business, combined with his proven track record and strong leadership values, makes him the ideal leader to guide Mouka into its next phase. We are confident that he will bring both continuity and renewed energy to our strategic ambitions.”

Osingunwa’s appointment signals a renewed focus on strengthening Mouka’s future-ready strategy, with emphasis on innovation, enhanced customer experience, and deeper market penetration. His leadership is expected to accelerate the company’s commitment to delivering quality sleep solutions while sustaining its legacy of trust and reliability.

Together, we will continue to build on this strong foundation, driving innovation, strengthening our market leadership, and delivering exceptional value to our customers and stakeholders.”

The Board reaffirmed its confidence in Mouka’s leadership team and workforce, noting that the company’s strategic direction remains unchanged. With a strong culture built on collaboration, resilience, and excellence, Mouka is well positioned to continue leading the industry and setting new benchmarks in sleep solutions.

As the company enters this new chapter, stakeholders are encouraged to support the transition and join in advancing Mouka’s vision of improving lives through quality sleep.

With over six decades of industry leadership, Mouka Limited remains Nigeria’s foremost manufacturer of mattresses, pillows, and sleep products. As part of the Dolidol International Group, headquartered in Casablanca, Morocco, the company continues to focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, delivering superior comfort solutions to millions of Nigerians.
