MarketingWorld’s CMO of the Week: Tsungie Matiure-Manyeza of ZINARA

Tsungie Matiure-Manyeza has built a reputation as a strategic communicator capable of shaping institutional narratives and strengthening stakeholder trust. As Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing at the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA), she oversees the organisation’s communication strategy, ensuring that its initiatives, policies, and infrastructure programs are effectively communicated to the public, government stakeholders, and industry partners.

Based in Harare, Manyeza plays a central role in promoting transparency, strengthening public engagement, and positioning ZINARA as a responsive authority responsible for managing Zimbabwe’s national road network.

Driving Strategic Communication and Brand Visibility

Since the role in June 2023, Manyeza has focused on integrating corporate communications with marketing and public affairs to support ZINARA’s broader development mandate. Her work spans media relations, stakeholder engagement, reputation management, and strategic marketing initiatives that highlight the impact of road infrastructure on national development. Through coordinated messaging and proactive communication, she helps ensure that ZINARA’s operations and projects remain visible, credible, and aligned with public expectations.

Corporate Communication Expertise Built at Lafarge

Before joining ZINARA, Manyeza served as Communications Manager at Lafarge, where she spent over five years shaping corporate messaging for one of the region’s leading construction materials companies. In that role, she managed internal and external communications, strengthened media relations, and supported corporate sustainability initiatives. Her tenure at Lafarge further refined her expertise in strategic storytelling, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement within the corporate sector.

A Decade of Corporate Affairs Leadership at Delta Beverages

Manyeza’s professional foundation was built during her ten-year tenure as Corporate Affairs Manager at Delta Beverages, one of Zimbabwe’s largest beverage manufacturers. There, she led public affairs and community relations programs, cultivating strong partnerships between the company, local communities, and regulatory stakeholders. Her work helped position the organisation as a responsible corporate citizen while reinforcing its brand reputation across Zimbabwe.

With more than a decade of experience across both public and private sectors, Tsungie Matiure-Manyeza continues to bring strategic insight, communication expertise, and leadership to Zimbabwe’s infrastructure ecosystem.
