MarketingWorld’s CMO of the Week:Twikale Chirwa‎ of ‎First Capital Bank Malawi

Twikale Chirwa is a seasoned marketing executive with more than 15 years of experience in strategic brand management, trade execution, and commercial leadership.

Chirwa  currently serves as the Head of Marketing at First Capital Bank Malawi, where he leads efforts to elevate the bank’s market presence and customer engagement through innovative marketing strategies.

Since taking on the role in 2022, Chirwa has overseen initiatives that align brand messaging with the bank’s mission to deliver forward-thinking financial solutions.

Before joining First Capital Bank,  Chirwa held the position of Marketing Manager at Castel Malawi f. During her tenure, he played a pivotal role in spearheading brand marketing and trade execution strategies that significantly enhanced market share and consumer engagement across major product lines.

Chirwa’s career also includes a notable stint at Carlsberg Malawi Ltd, where he served as Senior Brand Manager. In that role, he managed high-impact campaigns and led cross-functional teams to execute successful trade strategies, strengthening the Carlsberg brand’s visibility and position in the Malawian market.
