As Head of Marketing & Communications at First Capital Bank Botswana, and more recently as Chief of Staff, Mahomed-Tajbhai has consistently merged strategic thinking with a deep commitment to community development.

Based in Gaborone, Mahomed-Tajbhai leads a high-performing marketing team, aligning campaigns with the bank’s broader business goals while steering initiatives across brand management, CSR, sponsorships, and digital engagement. Her promotion to Chief of Staff, marked a crucial expansion of her role, positioning her as a key collaborator with the CEO to streamline operations and ensure the successful execution of the bank’s strategic agenda.

Mahomed-Tajbhai’s track record speaks volumes. Under her guidance, the bank has significantly enhanced its digital footprint, recording a measurable boost in social media engagement. She was instrumental in increasing partnership opportunities by 40% through targeted corporate events. Her efforts culminated in First Capital Bank earning top recognition at the 2023 Botswana Trade Fair, following its debut exhibition.

Before her current roles, Mahomed-Tajbhai brought a unique perspective from the health and wellness industry. As Director and Naturopathic Practitioner at Healing Alternatives Botswana, she advanced naturopathic policies, engaged with the Ministry of Health, and oversaw holistic health operations. She later served as an Operations Associate at O3 Beverages, where she contributed to optimizing bottling plant efficiencies.
