Nigeria Distilleries Launches Seamans Bless 20cl

Nigerian Distilleries Limited (NDL), Nigeria’s leading spirits manufacturer, has boosted its dominance in the bottled spirits market with the launch of Seamans Bless 20cl, a refined, portable expression that fuses deep cultural heritage with today’s fast-paced lifestyle.

This pioneering 20cl premium bottle introduces greater accessibility, elegance, and value, setting a fresh benchmark for premium yet inclusive spirits in Nigeria. It bridges tradition and modernity, filling the void left by the phased-out 3cl category while elevating the brand’s aspirational status.

Adekunle Rosiji, Group Executive Director, highlighted the strategic intent: “The 20cl variant deepens market penetration, enhances retail reach, and drives growth in a competitive landscape. It retains Seamans Bless’s rich heritage while delivering unmatched convenience for modern channels.”

He praised distributors as vital partners: “True progress thrives on collaboration—our dedicated distributors fuel the sustained success of Seamans Bless and the entire NDL portfolio.”

Wale Majolagbe, Executive Director, called it a milestone in consumer engagement: “This launch balances timeless authenticity with innovation, keeping the brand relevant across evolving lifestyles and strengthening grassroots connections.”

Gbemileke Lawal, Marketing Manager, noted its cultural resonance: “As ‘Omo Odo Agba’ (Son of the Elder) or ‘Nwa Agadi’ in Igbo, Seamans Bless embodies the ‘True Spirit of Our Culture’ delivering premium status with a distinct market identity.”

Nnenna Onyenacho, Senior Brand Manager, emphasized broad appeal: “Portable and premium, the 20cl format suits youthful consumers, professionals, traders, and social drinkers alike offering convenience without sacrificing the trusted Seamans Schnapps taste or promise.”

Trade partners welcome the innovation for its turnover potential and wider demographic reach. Nationwide distribution has begun, with full availability rolling out across major markets and licensed outlets soon.

In a fiercely competitive beverage sector, NDL recommits to responsible marketing, uncompromising quality, and sustainable expansion proving heritage and innovation can thrive together.
