Ghana: CBG broadens its horizons with five new branch openings

Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd (CBG) has expanded its reach by opening five new branches in Hohoe, Nkawkaw, Berekum, Navrongo, and Winneba. This strategic move aims to cater to the banking needs of these vibrant towns and surrounding communities, reflecting CBG’s commitment to financial inclusion and accessible banking services for all Ghanaians.

CBG’s CEO, Mr. Daniel Addo, expressed enthusiasm for the expansion, highlighting the bank’s three main objectives: providing a differentiated banking experience, supporting customers, and leading in banking innovation. He reaffirmed CBG’s dedication to offering exceptional services, particularly to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that form the backbone of Ghana’s economy.

The newly opened branches will offer a wide range of services, including personal and business accounts, loans, foreign exchange transactions, digital banking solutions, and advisory services tailored to the unique needs of each community. CBG’s commitment to financial literacy and community development will be a priority, with customer education initiatives aimed at empowering individuals and small businesses with essential financial knowledge.

With the opening of these branches, CBG continues its mission to expand its presence and deliver accessible banking services across Ghana. The bank assures customers that the new branches will provide an even better banking experience, driven by passionate and dedicated management and staff.
