Bureau Veritas appoints Fida Kibbi as new regional communications Director

Fida Kibbi, a seasoned communications and marketing executive with over 20 years of experience across the Middle East, has been appointed Regional Communications Director for Bureau Veritas, covering the Middle East, Caspian, and Africa regions.

Kibbi announced her new role on LinkedIn, expressing enthusiasm about joining the company’s regional leadership team. She will work closely with Executive Vice President Khurram Majeed and colleagues to drive the next phase of growth for the global testing, inspection, and certification leader.

“I’m happy to share that I am taking a new role leading Communications for Bureau Veritas across the Middle East, Caspian and Africa region,” she posted. “Joining the regional leadership team… Thank you for your trust and I look forward to the journey ahead!”

Kibbi brings a wealth of regional expertise to the position. For nearly 19 years, she held progressively senior roles at Ericsson in the United Arab Emirates, most recently serving as Vice President and Head of Marketing, Communications, Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility.

Her earlier positions at Ericsson included Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Head of Communications, and various leadership roles in public relations, media relations, and internal communications.

Prior to Ericsson, she worked as Business Communication Manager at Marconi PLC and began her career as Center Supervisor at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Widely recognized for her strategic acumen, Kibbi has built strong brands, led multi-market product launches, and delivered integrated, digital-first campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes. She has served as a spokesperson and crisis communications lead through complex geopolitical, regulatory, and reputational challenges. An expert in sustainability and corporate social responsibility, she has designed award-winning ESG and Tech4Good initiatives that create both societal impact and commercial value.

Her leadership has been acknowledged through multiple accolades, including SheLeads, Teach for Ericsson, and recognition by Forbes Middle East. Known for her authentic and purpose-driven approach, Kibbi is also a sought-after executive coach who trains leaders to become compelling storytellers and influential communicators.
