Bolt Rewind 2024 Highlights Trends in Rider and Driver Behavior

Bolt, the premier mobility platform in Ghana, has unveiled its Bolt Rewind 2024 report, showcasing intriguing trends in rider and driver behavior both globally and within Ghana over the past year.

The data reveals that Fridays continue to be the most popular day for Bolt riders in Ghana, consistent with last year’s trends. Rides frequently originated from airports and restaurants, emphasizing Bolt’s crucial role in providing seamless travel and dining experiences.

One rider completed an impressive 1,375 trips, up from 1,324 trips in 2023. Meanwhile, the top driver achieved an astounding 7,772 trips, highlighting their dedication and the increasing demand for Bolt’s services. The longest trip recorded in Ghana for 2024 was a notable 68.34 km.

On the global front, the Bolt Business category saw significant growth, with the highest number of rides in Bangkok, Johannesburg, and Asunción. Business users primarily booked rides on Fridays, with peak usage between 5 pm and 6 pm, demonstrating Bolt’s importance to professionals in busy urban areas.
