WIMCA honours Maureen Ifada again for excellence in marketing leadership

FrieslandCampina WAMCO’s Marketing Director, Maureen Ifada, has again been recognised among WIMCA’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Marketing and Communications in Nigeria, marking her second consecutive appearance on the prestigious list.

The honour, organised by Brand Communicator Magazine through the Women in Marketing and Communications Conference and Awards (WIMCA), celebrates women shaping Nigeria’s marketing and communications industry through innovation, leadership, and excellence.

With over two decades of experience, Ifada has distinguished herself as a trailblazer in strategic brand building. She joined FrieslandCampina WAMCO in 2003 as a Management Trainee and became part of the management team in 2024.

She led the repositioning of Three Crowns Milk with the “Healthy Mums, Happy Families” campaign, redefining the brand’s message and strengthening its market relevance. Her leadership of Peak Milk, Nigeria’s number one dairy brand, also reinforced its dominance in a competitive market.

Ifada holds degrees from Ambrose Alli University and Heriot-Watt University, with professional certifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). A Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNiMN), and Fellow Institute of Management Consultant (FIMC). She continues to inspire women across the industry through excellence, innovation, and mentorship.
