With over 15 years of experience in marketing, branding, and business development across Malawi and South Africa, Chalamba has established himself as a dynamic leader in the financial services sector, shaping Ecobank’s brand identity and stakeholder engagement in a competitive market.

At Ecobank Malawi, Chalamba oversees the strategic direction of the bank’s branding, marketing, and corporate communications, driving initiatives that enhance customer trust and market presence. His leadership has been instrumental in aligning Ecobank’s brand with its mission to deliver innovative financial solutions across Malawi. Before joining Ecobank, he served as Brand & PR Manager at MyBucks Malawi , where he spearheaded brand-building efforts and public relations strategies for the fintech firm. From , he was Marketing & Business Development Manager at Nedbank Malawi, where she drove business growth and crafted impactful marketing campaigns over six years.

His earlier roles include a stint at Standard Bank Group, where she worked as a Marketing Officer in Malawi and briefly as a Digital Marketing Consultant in South Africa. She began her career as an Account Director at TopAd Olgivy in Malawi , managing high-profile client accounts and delivering creative marketing solutions.
