Coca-Cola, Aston Villa announce global partnership

The Coca-Cola Company has been announced as an Official Partner of Aston Villa Football Club, becoming the Official Soft Drinks Partner, Official Global Partner, and Official Partner for both the Men’s and Women’s teams, the club confirmed today.

The partnership will bring Coca-Cola’s iconic beverage portfolio, including Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke, Fanta Orange, Sprite, and more, to Villa Park and club events worldwide, ensuring fans stay refreshed on matchdays.

The agreement includes pouring rights for Coca-Cola’s full range of drinks, enhancing the fan experience at Villa Park and beyond. Aston Villa and Coca-Cola plan to roll out exclusive activations, including in-stadium experiences, digital campaigns, and retail giveaways, alongside community initiatives to deepen ties with supporters globally. These efforts aim to capture the passion of Aston Villa’s fanbase under the theme “Drink it In.”

Javier Meza, Coca-Cola’s President of Marketing, Europe, added, “Partnering with Aston Villa, a club with a historic legacy and passionate global fanbase, is incredibly exciting. The partnership strengthens Coca-Cola’s ties to UK football, complementing its existing league-wide agreement with the Premier League. Fans can expect innovative activations that bring the club and its supporters closer together.
