Promasidor Ghana (PGH), through the Onga Impacting Lives campaign has launched a Northern Tree Planting project in partnership with the Office of the Tamale Zongo Chief at the Tolon District in the Northern region.

A commitment to plant a total of 7,000 trees (which include Mahogany, Acacia, and Mango trees) in the district was announced by the Onga brand in partnership with the Dalhu Green Project of the Office of Tamale Zongo Chief at the launch. The Northern Tree planting project is an eco-friendly initiative that supports the Green Ghana campaign by the Government of Ghana to reclaim and restore lost forest and vegetation cover, and equally contribute to the fight against climate change.

Sheik Dalhu further showered praises on the Onga brand for its commitment to the project and also expressed his gratitude to the brand for the items donated for the execution of the project. The project commenced with a ceremonial planting of trees at the Tolon palace and Tolon District hospital.
