TECNO unveils Another Spark Talent Hunt to support Nigerian Student

Nigeria is blessed with hardworking and talented people striving to bring their talents to the spotlight. However, the biggest problem is the absence of a free platform to showcase these talents. Having the right platform is fundamental to building one’s talent. Without it, it becomes nearly impossible to hit the limelight.

As a people centric brand TECNO keeps finding solutions to the needs of their customers one of which is helping young adults with a platform to discover and build their talent.

So, the idea for TECNO Spark Talent Hunt was born and this is in partnership with the artiste Teni Makanaki with a unique vision to be the go-to platform for all aspiring and genuinely talented Nigerians.

First introduced in 2019 by TECNO Mobile, the TECNO Spark Talent Hunt offers an opportunity for students to display their talents through an image or video submission. Stephen Maiangwa (a versatile rapper), Aluu Prosper (a creative artist), and Ojo Oluwaseun (a Fashion designer) emerged as the overall winners of the first TECNO Spark Talent Hunt and were rewarded with a year’s pocket money, an internship position, and a Spark smartphone.

TECNO tagged its latest edition the Power of Five with the launch of Spark 5 series – https://www.tecno-mobile.com/ng/phones/product-detail/product/spark-5-5/#/

TECNO has expanded to 5 categories to provide more opportunities for all talented Nigerians to showcase their talents. These categories include; Art, Music, Comedy, Dance, and Fresh Up (Style/fashion). Five winners from each category were rewarded with N200,000 each while many more people won the brand new TECNO Spark 5 smartphone and gift items for their efforts.

There’s no doubt that the Spark Talent Hunt has proven to be a reliable platform for Nigerians to showcase their talents to the world and many lives have been transformed through this initiative.

Already, many Nigerian celebrities like Arinze Stanley, Charles Okocha, Kiekie, MC Shem, Uti Nwachukwu and Pinkie Debbie have shown their support for this initiative as TECNO is driving talents to the frontiers by giving them a platform to express their talent.
