Tanzania: Air Tanzania expands its international routes with Dar-Dubai flights

Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) has announced the launch of a direct flight from Dar es Salaam to Dubai, UAE, starting March 31, 2024.

This move by the carrier aims at making Tanzania expand its international flights by adding the Dubai route to its roster.

The national carrier will be flying four times a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, at fares that start at $530 (Sh1.4 million) for a return ticket.

The Dubai route will be the seventh international route to be launched by the expanding airline.

Other regional and international routes that have been inaugurated by the airline are Bujumbura, Lubumbashi, Entebbe, Ndola (Zambia), Johannesburg (launched in 2021, now suspended), Comoros, Harare, and Guangzhou.
