Since joining SeamlessHR in 2022, Akinwale has been instrumental in shaping the company’s marketing and communications strategy across Africa and international markets. His efforts have significantly boosted brand visibility, supported commercial growth, and reinforced SeamlessHR’s position as the premier HR technology provider on the continent.
In his new role, Akinwale will continue to oversee the company’s marketing, communications, and brand functions, with a focus on shaping market perception, driving commercial objectives, and deepening SeamlessHR’s footprint across Africa.
Akinwale brings extensive experience to the position, having previously held leadership roles in communications and marketing at some of Africa’s biggest corporations, including Globacom, Transcorp Plc, Lafarge Africa Plc, FBN Capital, and MTN Nigeria.

His career spans corporate reputation management, brand development, integrated marketing, digital communications, stakeholder engagement, product marketing, and executive communications.
He has successfully led high-impact campaigns, developed go-to-market strategies, and managed reputation for major listed organisations across telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, and technology sectors.
