Nokia Mobile launches Nokia G300 onto the US Market

Nokia Mobile has announced its new device Nokia G300, a 5G Nokia smartphone onto the US market that will (first) be available via US carriers Tracfone and Straight Talk Wireless.

Nokia G300 comes in a nice housing with nanotextured back. The device uses an energy-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 4350 which is a fancy name for a well-known Snapdragon 480 5G processor, which is an affordable 5G chipset that can be found on most recent smartphones announced by Nokia Mobile. G300 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, and the internal memory can be expended up to 1Tb with Micro SD cards. Other specs include 6.52-inch HD+ screen with teardrop notch where an 8MP front camera is placed. On the backside there is a 16MP main camera with OZO Audio support, 5MP ultrawide camera, and 2MP depth sensor.

The plastic backside has a similar texture as Nokia XR20 and just holds the Nokia and US carrier logo. The fingerprint reader is again mounted inside the power button which is convenient for unlocking process. However, the phone also supports face unlocking.

The new device, Nokia G300 comes with unique specifications and these include Dimensions: 169.41×78.43×9.28 mm, Mass: 210 g, Display: 6.52-inch, HD+ LCD (720 x 1600), 20:9 ratio, Processor: Snapdragon 480, Memory: 4/64 GB, 1Tb MicroSD, Camera: 16 MP (f/1.8, FOV 77), 5 MP ultra wide (f/2.2, FOV 115°), 2 MP Depth (f/2.4, FOV 90°), LED flash, Connectivity: 5G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, BT 5.0, NFC, Extra: 3.5 mm, USB-C (USB 2.0), Battery: 4470 mAh, 18W fast charging, Color: Meteor Gray, and OS: Android 11.

The device has a 4470mAh battery and supports 18W (Quick Charge 3) fast charging. Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 5, and NFC are on board as well. The fingerprint sensor is located on the side and doubles as a power button.

Nokia G300 comes with Android 11 out of box, with no mention of Android One. The device will go on sale on October 19th for 199 dollars (172 euro, 15,000INR). Currently, the G300 will be a US exclusive available via Tracfone and Straight Talk Wireless.
