Nigeria: WhyFinite launches new X Series Party Speakers in Nigeria

A leading Martech company, WhyFinite has hosted the Sony Middle East and Africa (MEA) team for the official launch of the new X series party speakers in Nigeria. The event marked Sony’s active return to the Nigerian home appliance market after a brief hiatus.

The activation, which took place at Computer Village and Ikeja City Mall, respectively, featured exciting activities such as karaoke sessions, dancing competitions, and product demonstrations. Attendees were able to experience the innovative features and exceptional sound quality of the X series party speakers, which include the SRS XV-900, SRS-XV800, SRS-XV700, and SRS-XV500.

The event also featured guest appearances by lifestyle influencer OAP, Natacha Akide (Tacha), and Celebrity Hypeman and OAP, Dotun, who added to the excitement with their energetic presence.

The Founder/CEO of WhyFinite, Bolaji Junaid on the X Series speaker launch activation noted that it was a great privilege for the company to have been entrusted with the Sony’s Live Life Loud campaign activation after a long inactivity from the Nigerian marketing scene. “It was such a beautiful experience activating the sensory and physical energy of Nigerians with well curated Karaoke sessions, dancing competitions and lots of entertainment.” He said

Jobin Joejoe, Deputy Managing Director at Sony MEA, expressed the company’s thrill at showcasing the X series party speakers in Nigeria. “These speakers are designed to elevate every gathering into an unforgettable experience,” he said. “This activation demonstrates Sony’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of entertainment and technology.”

Rajeev Abraham, Marketing Communications Manager, SonyMEA and  Ankit Dadhich, Marketing Director, SonyMEA also noted that Sony remains committed to the Nigerian market and would continue to give Nigerians a firsthand experience of Sony’s innovative features and exceptional sound quality of the party speakers.

Notably, the activation was also held in other African countries, but the Sony MEA team commended WhyFinite for outstanding work, recognizing the 2 days Lagos event as the “Best Practice Activation” amongst other African countries activated. This launch reinforces Sony’s dedication to the Nigerian market and sets the stage for future innovative experiences.
