Nigeria: UAC Foods Limited Appoints Oluyemi Oloyede as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer

A leading manufacturer and marketer of tasty, nourishing convenience foods, UAC Foods Limited has appointed experienced sales and marketing executive, Oluyemi Oloyede as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Oloyede’s appointment was announced by the company in a statement on its official LinkedIn page. It read, “Congratulations on your appointment as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UAC Foods.

Also, making the announcement, Oloyede in a post on his LinkedIn page read, “I am excited to announce that I am starting a new journey as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UAC Foods Limited. It is a beautiful new journey ahead!

“Looking at where I started from and where I am, I am deeply grateful to Almighty God, the Supreme Being and everyone who has contributed to my journey! Looking forward to sharing love and laughter with my new family at UAC of Nigeria Plc.”

Prior to joining UAC Foods, Oloyede was the General Manager at Kerry. Kerry Group is a leader in global food ingredients, taste and nutrition solutions. He was with the company for five years and two months.

He was the Regional Business Manager for Kellogg Company where he was responsible for Kellogg’s business in West Africa, including, but not limited to R2M Design and Execution, Distributor Profiling and Selection, Sales and Distribution, Channel Development, Business Forecasting, Demand and Supply Management, Consumer and Customer Marketing, Trade Margins, Training and Capability Development.

Other places he worked include L’Oréal where he served as the National Sales Manager, Nigeria and Ghana and Procter & Gamble where he was the Regional Sales Manager (Lagos, Ogun, Edo and Delta States).

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons.) in Mathematics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He also proceeded to the same institution for Master of Business Administration – MBA, Business Administration and Management, General.
