MTN Ghana surprises its distributors with brand new 2021 Toyota Hiace vans

MTN Ghana has surprised its distributors with early Christmas presents when the giant telecommunications company presented eight Toyota Hiace vans to eight distributors.

On the journey to becoming the foremost telecom company in the country, MTN Ghana has over the years worked with big distribution companies with their branches scattered across the various regions.

As part of the company’s 25th-anniversary celebration, MTN Ghana has surprised these distributors with vans as a gesture of recognition of the work they carry out.

To climax the 2021 distributor conference put together by MTN Ghana at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, officials of MTN Ghana led by Chief Executive Officer Selorm Adadevoh handed over the vans to the distributors amid surprise and delight.

Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the presentation of the vans, Chief Sales and Distribution Officer for MTN Ghana, Shaibu Haruna stressed that the gesture by his outfit is to say thank you to the distributors.

“We have very solid partners who have supported us over the years in building our brand and supporting us in our route to market. This is in line with our 25th-anniversary celebration we thought it was our token of our appreciation for the good work that they have done for our business over the years. So, this is more of thank you for the good work that our distributors have done for MTN over the last 25 years,” Shaibu Haruna noted.

He further reposed confidence in the distributors while describing them as partners that will drive the company to become a bigger and valuable platform not only in Ghana but across Africa.

Speaking on behalf of the distributors, Nathan Lee-Winans Annobi who is CEO of NanaTel extended appreciation to MTN Ghana while adding that the vans will be of great help for their businesses to grow.

“For us, this is a huge addition to the logistical tools that we use on the field. We think it’s really going to boost our business and help us do a lot more than we have been doing all the time,” he told the media.

Nathan Lee-Winans Annobi further assured that the distributors will take good care of the vans and ensure they are put to good use to help in playing a role in the growth of MTN Ghana.

The awardees are Samentro Links, Izone, EMBA Links, Ash Cell, and NAATOA Telecommunications Systems.

Others are E-Kash Business & Communication Ltd, NanaTel, as well as BISVEL Communications Ltd.
