Maxima Group appoints Michellee Fox as new COO

Maxima Media Group, an integrated media, communications, and experiential marketing company, has appointed Michellee Fox as its new Chief Operating Officer, bolstering its leadership team with a seasoned strategist and creative force.

Fox brings over a decade of extensive experience in building high-level strategic partnerships across governments, investors, and multinational organisations. She is widely recognised for designing and delivering impactful activations around major global events, including Formula 1 races in Abu Dhabi and Monaco. A Green Michelin-trained chef, she also champions sustainable culinary initiatives, blending innovation with purpose-driven experiences.

In her new role at Maxima Media Group, which she assumed in June 2025, Fox is leading operational strategy across the company’s portfolio. Her mandate includes forging strategic partnerships with governments, investors, and multinational institutions to translate continental ambitions into structured, revenue-generating platforms within Africa’s media, communications, and experiential sectors.

Prior to joining Maxima Media Group, Fox founded Liora Global in April 2024, where she serves as a catalyst for change through immersive activations that merge culture, capital, and consciousness. Her work focuses on creating transformative experiences that connect family offices, innovators, and cultural leaders, driving measurable impact aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Fox’s diverse professional background spans entertainment management, production, and community-focused roles. She previously served as Director of Food and Nutrition at Okanogan County Community Action Council, Dietary Director at Mid-Valley Hospital Foundation, and held key positions in event production and management, including roles at Rude Boyz Present and Chama Violeta Productions.

Her experience includes orchestrating large-scale events such as music festivals, skateboard competitions, and international activations across the United States, Portugal, and Brazil.

The appointment is expected to strengthen Maxima Media Group’s capacity to deliver cutting-edge experiential marketing solutions and deepen its footprint across Africa.
