LVMH Moet Hennessy Appoints Rene Madumere as Brand Manager

A luxury goods company that produces and sells wine, spirits, perfumes, cosmetics, luggage, watches, and jewelry, LVMH Moet Hennessy has appointed Rene Madumere as Brand Manager.

Prior to his appointment, he was Brand Manager Knorr at Unilever where he used his creative and analytical skills to drive further success for a forward-thinking organization.

With a strong background in campaign management, brand management, and consumer research, Rene is passionate about driving brand growth and enhancing market share. His expertise lies in successfully launching innovative campaigns and leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Rene has a track record of making strategic decisions that lead to increased sales and profitability, with a keen eye for market trends and consumer insights. His experience at Unilever Nigeria Plc as a Brand Manager and Territory Manager has allowed him to develop strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a deep understanding of the dynamics of the Nigerian market.

His proficiency in Nielsen, Kantar World Panel Online, and Kantar Millward Brown BGS Online tools has enabled him to glean actionable insights from multisource data, providing a solid foundation for data-driven decision-making.

Rene started his career at Unilever in 2016 as Quality Control Analyst. Thereafter, he was promoted to the position of Consumer and Marketing Insight (CMI) Assistant for Beauty and personal care Africa.

He also served at the same company where he rose from the position of Assistant Brand Manager, Nutrition Category to Territory Sales Manager, Lagos Island.

Rene has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from Imo State University. He also has a Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom. He is skilled in Analytical skills, Consumer Research, Market Research, Interpreting, Planning and Organizing, Good Presentation Skills, Dual language and others.

However, his fluency in both English and French allows him to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across international markets.
