Guinness Ghana Promotes Sabina Manu to Marketing & Innovations Director

Sabina Manu has been appointed Marketing & Innovations Director at Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC, marking a significant milestone in her impressive career within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.

Manu, who joined Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC in April 2021 as Head of Customer Marketing, rose through the ranks to assume her new role exactly five years later in April 2026. Her appointment underscores her outstanding contributions to the company’s commercial performance and brand growth.

In a reflective personal statement, Manu described her journey as one defined by faith, evolution, and conviction.

“I joined Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC in April 2021 as Head of Customer Marketing and five years to the day, I’m excited to share that I was appointed Marketing & Innovations Director,” she said. “Mine is a story of #faith (in a higher calling and plan for my life), #evolution (of mindset, perspective, and knowledge), and #conviction (in speaking up for myself — respectfully and consistently).”

Before joining Guinness, Manu built a strong reputation in the beverage industry over a decade at Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company, where she held several leadership positions including Regional Trade Marketing Manager (West Africa), Head of Marketing & Innovations, and Trade Marketing Manager. Her earlier career also included roles at eTranzact (UK) Ltd and UBA Group.

Known for her strategic mindset, team leadership, and passion for brand building, Manu has consistently delivered results across sales strategy, customer marketing, innovation, and trade activation in highly competitive markets. She has played a key role in driving volume growth, brand visibility, and organisational confidence at Guinness Ghana.

In her new capacity as Marketing & Innovations Director, Sabina Manu will oversee the full spectrum of marketing strategy, brand development, and innovation initiatives for one of Ghana’s most iconic beverage companies.
