Adeola Amosun Shines at Industry Summit 2026, Wins Top Marketing Communications Award

Adeola Amosun Bags Outstanding Marketing Communications Award, Drives Real Sector Conversation at Industry Summit 2026

It was a moment of recognition and influence for Adeola Amosun at The Industry Summit and Awards 2026, where he not only received a prestigious honour but also helped shape conversations on the future of Nigeria’s real sector.

The high-profile event, themed “The Year of The Real Sector,” held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Civic Centre, Lagos, brought together key players across industry, policy, and marketing. It featured notable figures including Senator John Owan Enoh, who served as Special Guest of Honour, and keynote speaker Dr. Ayodele Abioye.

Adeola Amosun, who serves as Group Media Manager at Tolaram, emerged as one of the biggest highlights of the evening, clinching the award for Outstanding Marketing Communication Personality 2025/2026. The award recognised his strategic influence, innovation, and consistent excellence in driving impactful brand communication within Nigeria’s competitive business landscape.

Beyond receiving the award, Amosun also played a significant role as a panelist, joining other industry leaders to dissect the theme of the event: The Real Sector. The session explored how marketing communications can serve as a catalyst for growth across manufacturing, FMCG, and trade, particularly within Nigeria’s evolving economic landscape.

Drawing from his experience in brand strategy, Amosun shared practical insights on how businesses can remain commercially viable while still connecting meaningfully with consumers facing reduced purchasing power. Speaking on pricing strategy and consumer accessibility, he noted that brands must rethink affordability beyond simply lowering prices.

“You don’t reduce the price, you reduce the barrier to entry. In Nigeria, affordability is a packaging strategy,” he stated.

His contribution highlighted the growing importance of adaptive marketing in emerging markets, where consumer behaviour is shaped not just by preference, but by economic realities. Amosun explained that successful brands are increasingly winning through flexible pack sizes, accessible pricing architecture, and communication strategies that reinforce value without diluting brand equity.

The panel also examined the role of strategic storytelling, media innovation, and consumer insight in driving growth within the real sector. Amosun stressed that marketing communications should not merely amplify products, but must actively bridge the gap between brands and the everyday realities of consumers.

Speaking on the award, Adeola Amosun said, “Winning this award is truly humbling, but more importantly, it reinforces the responsibility we carry as marketing communication professionals. The real sector is the backbone of our economy, and our role is to tell its story in a way that drives investment, builds trust, and inspires growth. Marketing today must go beyond promotion, it must become a tool for transformation.”

The summit itself served as a strategic platform for dialogue, bridging policy direction with private sector execution. Conversations centred on strengthening local production, improving market access, and leveraging branding to position Nigerian products competitively on the global stage.

Convener of the summit, Goddie Offose, highlighted the importance of recognising professionals who are shaping narratives that support economic growth. “Adeola Amosun represents the kind of excellence and forward-thinking leadership we need in this era of economic repositioning. His work in marketing communications reflects the power of strategic storytelling in advancing the real sector. This award is not just about past achievements, but about the future he is helping to build,” Ofdose said.

With a blend of recognition and thought leadership, Adeola Amosun’s dual role at the Industry Summit 2026 underscores his influence as a key voice in Nigeria’s marketing communications space, one committed to driving both brand success and national development.
