Ghana: Ecobank Ghana rewards over 2,500 customers in its Ecobank million geng campaign

Ecobank Ghana has celebrated its customers by awarding 2,506 individuals in its inaugural “Ecobank Million Geng” campaign draw. The promotion, launched to reward customer loyalty and highlight the bank’s extensive network of agent points nationwide, provided various prizes as a token of appreciation. The event took place recently, with Mr. William Danso Abeam, Head of Consumer Products at Ecobank Ghana, emphasizing the campaign’s role in thanking customers for their continued support.

To qualify for the draw, customers needed to deposit Ghc500 or more, maintain this balance for at least seven days, and conduct a minimum of four transactions via the bank’s digital platforms. These platforms include the Ecobank Mobile App, USSD *770#, and debit or credit cards. The draw’s credibility was ensured by the National Lottery Authority, which verified the data to confirm fairness and accuracy.

During the first draw, winners were selected across seven baskets. The top basket rewarded five customers with Ghc10,000 each, while the second basket awarded ten customers with Ghc5,000 each. Other baskets offered various prizes, including cash, vouchers, fuel vouchers, and airtime to a broad range of customers. This diverse prize distribution underscored Ecobank’s commitment to rewarding both new and existing clients.

Mrs. Priscilla Akuamoah, Account Manager at the National Lottery Authority, praised Ecobank Ghana for its consistent efforts to appreciate its customers, citing past promotions like the double salary initiatives. The “Ecobank Million Geng” campaign is part of the bank’s ongoing strategy to engage and reward its customer base through innovative and rewarding programs.
