Fulgo Mobile Appoints Nkasiobi Chukwu as Head of Marketing Communications

An Australian-owned and operated mobile device company producing smartphones and accessories, Fulgo Mobile has appointed creative-tech pioneer and Communications & Business Development Strategist, Nkasiobi Chukwu as its Head of Marketing Communications.

In his new role, Nkasi will lead the mobile company’s 360 marketing efforts, as well as lead the strategy, brand positioning and creative execution across all channels and media, while also launching the brand and spearheading its penetration in the Nigerian market.

Nkasiobi who is also a multi-creative (writer, musician, and filmmaker) and goes by the moniker Eclipse Nkasi, is the creator of Africa’s first AI powered music album. He has variously been described as a dynamic business and tech leader with a passion for fostering creativity and innovation in the intersection of art, culture, and technology.

He started his career in the brand communication space as a creative who was making and contributing to audiovisual ad materials for brands, like Mtn, Airtel, Hennessy, Pepsi, Glo and many more. Blessed with a unique voice, he is the voice behind some of the most memorable jingles and TVCs in the Nigerian market.

Prior to his appointment at Fulgo Mobile, Nkasiobi was Head, Product and Innovation of Beyond the Visual. He also served at ProDevs as the Senior Business Development Manager.

Committed to pushing the boundaries of digital storytelling and transforming the way people engage with and experience creative content over the past decade, he is currently focused on exploring the potentials of AI, interactive media, and immersive technologies, such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR), to unlock new dimensions of creativity and redefine the future of the creative industry.

Nkasiobi is an alumnus of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he studied Mass Communication/Media Studies. He also has a certificate of project management from Regenesys.
