An Accra-based DStv Premium customer has received a reward from MultiChoice Ghana after he emerged one of several DStv customers whose accounts remain active on the highest package, and met all the other criteria to become a 100 percent Premium subscriber.
“MultiChoice is always looking for innovative ways to engage our customers and add value to them by encouraging them to use all our product offerings available at their disposal as part of the DStv experience to unlock the full power of a Premium subscription,” said Alex Okyere Managing Director, MultiChoice Ghana.
He said this while speaking at a short ceremony to award some customers who had successfully consumed a variety of services provided by DStv Ghana, including owning a DStv Explora decoder, streaming content on Showmax, watching movies on DStv BoxOffice, usage of the MyDStv app consistently over the last 90 days, among others.
Kofi Poku, a customer in Accra, was awarded with items including a 65” TV set, PlayStation 5 Console, DStv Explora Decoder, and an assortment of drinks and snacks for ten of his friends. Receiving the items at the MultiChoice Ghana office in Abelemkpe, he could not hide his excitement, and thanked the staff and management of DStv for the surprise award. He urged more customers to continue using the various self-service options and apps from DStv.
“I was shocked to receive a call from DStv congratulating me about being a recipient of the 100 percent Premium award. I thought it was a prank until I verified with the email, I received from the MultiChoice staff,” said Mr. Poku.
During the World Cup period, several customers who achieve 100 percent Premium status would be presented with items like decoders, subscription, dinner, and weekend at plush hotels around the country.
To participate, customers simply need to upgrade to or stay active on DStv Premium package, stream content on Showmax, the DStv app, and use the MyDStv app to transact with DStv.
