Champions Breweries Plc appoints Queen Nwabueze as its Marketing & Brand Manager

Champions Breweries Plc has appointed Queen Nwabueze as its Marketing and Brand Manager.

In this new role, Nwabueze will spearhead the marketing and brand strategies for the company’s entire portfolio, including its flagship products and innovative alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Nwabueze brings a wealth of experience and expertise in public relations, media relations, content marketing, and social media, having honed her skills over the past seven years in various roles within the PR, media, and content marketing industries. Her track record in managing reputable brands and companies positions her well for this new challenge.

Prior to joining Champions Breweries, Nwabueze served as a Team Lead at Lion IMC Limited, where she played a crucial role in shaping the company’s brand reputation and positioning it as an industry leader. She has also worked as a PR Consultant at Niger Delta Exploration & Production, contributing her expertise to the company’s public relations efforts.

Her diverse background includes serving as Co-Editor at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), where she was instrumental in producing the agency’s 2017/2018 Annual Report. Her career journey began at Blueflower Limited, where she held the position of Senior Media and Account Executive, responsible for media monitoring and measuring outputs for clients such as Airtel Nigeria, Business School Netherlands Nigeria, Nutricima, Wiko Mobile, and Cornerstone Insurance, among others.

In addition to her corporate roles, Nwabueze has also gained experience in the media industry, having worked as a Journalist at Champion Newspaper and as an English Language Facilitator at Uthmanzak College.

Nwabueze holds a Bachelor’s of Art in Mass Communication from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
