Amazon Appoints Ngozi Nkwoji Senior Marketing Manager, Consumer Electronics

American Multinational conglomerate, Amazon.com has appointed Nigerian marketing communication professional, Ngozi Nkwoji as Senior Marketing Manager for its Consumer Electronics division.

Nkwoji who is a strategic leader with over ten years progressive experience in directing portfolios of top-selling consumer goods, driving brand identity & revenue growth, and brand and niche development, joined the conglomerate from the Heineken Company where she was a Marketing Manager, Communications and Sponsorship.

Over the course of her career, she has developed a reputation for and has a proven track record of leading teams through complex global campaigns by leveraging nuanced skills in research, strategic partnerships, risk management, and continual process improvement.

Ngozi Nkwoji professional journey began in 2010 when she joined the Nigerian Breweries as a Senior Brand Manager for the Maltina brand, a role she held for four years. While in that position, she was instrumental in leading the Maltina brand to hit 1M hectoliters with a 5.3% revenue growth by Year-2, driving brand recognition and increased audience engagement meeting the wider commercial stakeholder vision by executing tailored marketing strategies and campaigns across disparate platforms, among other notable achievements.

Following her exploits with the Maltina brand, she was moved to the position of Senior Brand Manager for the Heineken brand where she led global campaigns from conceptualization to launch and management, maintaining Heineken’s relevance and numero uno status in the premium beer segment while growing consumer interest and capturing additional market share.

From there, she would rise steadily and meteorically through the ranks, becoming Heineken Communications Manager where she drove multifaceted, consumer-led campaigns incorporated interfacing multi-departmental collaborations across the Africa Middle East region; Portfolio Manager, Zero Alcohol Beverage where she led product expansion and global market growth for Heineken’s biggest operation in Africa, serving both the Nigerian market and consumer exports across West Africa, and Marketing Manager Communications & Sponsorship.

Nkwoji possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Suma Cum Laude, from the American InterContinental University. She has also attended certificate programmes from the London Business School-Customer-Focused Marketing, and the Harvard Business School Executive Education-Global marketing management.
