Coca-Cola in New Role Promotes Monali Shah As Head Of Integrated Marketing Experiences in Africa

The Coca-Cola Company has announced to the public the promotion of the renowned marketing communications executive, Monali Shah to the position of Head of Integrated Marketing Experiences, Africa.

According to her new position, her role cuts across overseeing the integrated marketing communications activities for Coca-Cola in Africa across the brand portfolio of the company. Prior to her elevation, she was the Marketing Communications Director – West Africa Business Unit of the company.

The award winning Monali Shah is a successful marketing communications executive with over 19 years’ experience that spans across FMCG, Telco, Banking and Entertainment industry.

Kenyan born and raised, Monali is a known pioneer and trailblazer in the Marketing Communications Industry in Africa; having led (with her team) some of the most well-known campaigns for the Coca-Cola company- Coke Studio, Africa, Billion Reasons to Believe, Share a Coke, Copa Coca-Cola, FIFA World Cup global, Taste the Feeling campaign to name a few.

Going through her career, she started working at The Coca-Cola Company as Creative Excellence Lead – Central East West Africa Business Unit before she became the Integrated Marketing Communications Director – Central, East, West Africa and later Head of Creative Excellence, Southern & Eastern Africa.

Meanwhile, for her dedication and contributions to the growth of the company, she was elevated to the position of Marketing Communications Director – South and East Africa Business Unit before becoming Marketing Communications Director – West Africa Business Unit and currently she is Head of Integrated Marketing Experiences, Africa.

Remarkably, for her outstanding contributions to the brands and marketing industry, in 2019, she was honoured as the African Marketing Professional of the year at MarketingWorld Awards and similarly in 2019, she was honoured as Top 10 Brand Representative Middle East & Africa at the Loeries Middle East & Africa Official Rankings. She is also among the Global 100 Under 40 Most Influential People of African Descent 2020.

Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company, she started her career as a DJ & Head of Entertainment and Brand Experience Marketing at Homeboyz Entertainment Limited before she moved to WPP-Scan group as Brand Experience Manager.

She has been a remarkable figure to reckon with as the Marketing sphere is concerned and we applaud and congratulate her once again.
