Absa Bank Ghana has supported the listing of Series 1 and 2 of Petrosol Platinum Energy PLC’s GHS200 million Note Programme on the Ghana Fixed Income Market, marking a significant milestone in the energy company’s growth and capital-raising journey.
Commenting on the transaction, Nana Essilfuah Boison, Marketing and Corporate Affairs Director, Absa Bank Ghana, said the bank was pleased to support Petrosol’s entry into Ghana’s capital markets as a key adviser to the transaction.
According to Boison, the listing will provide Petrosol with access to capital to finance its next phase of expansion, including the growth of its business-to-business (B2B) operations into other regions.
She added that part of the capital would also support Petrosol’s investments in renewable energy, including the deployment of solar installations across its service stations.

Boison described Petrosol’s entry into the capital market as an important demonstration of the company’s commitment to growth, transparency and long-term value creation for its customers, investors and shareholders.

She, however, noted that as Petrosol expands its operations, maintaining financial prudence, consistent performance and strong corporate disclosures would remain essential to sustaining investor confidence.
“At Absa, we remain committed to supporting Ghanaian businesses with the financial expertise and solutions they need to grow, expand and pursue opportunities across Ghana, the region and beyond,” Boison wrote on her LinkedIn page.
She congratulated Petrosol Platinum Energy PLC on the successful milestone, reaffirming Absa Bank’s commitment to helping businesses leverage Ghana’s capital markets to finance sustainable growth and expansion.
