SeamlessHR names Sayo Akinwale as new Senior Director, Marketing & Comm.

SeamlessHR, Africa’s leading workforce technology company, has announced the appointment of Sayo Akinwale as its new Senior Director, Marketing & Communications.

The elevation forms part of the company’s strategic push to strengthen its leadership team and accelerate growth, innovation, and market expansion across the continent.

Since joining SeamlessHR in 2022, Akinwale has been instrumental in shaping the company’s marketing and communications strategy across Africa and international markets. His efforts have significantly boosted brand visibility, supported commercial growth, and reinforced SeamlessHR’s position as the premier HR technology provider on the continent.

In his new role, Akinwale will continue to oversee the company’s marketing, communications, and brand functions, with a focus on shaping market perception, driving commercial objectives, and deepening SeamlessHR’s footprint across Africa.

Akinwale brings extensive experience to the position, having previously held leadership roles in communications and marketing at some of Africa’s biggest corporations, including Globacom, Transcorp Plc, Lafarge Africa Plc, FBN Capital, and MTN Nigeria.

He has successfully led high-impact campaigns, developed go-to-market strategies, and managed reputation for major listed organisations across telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, and technology sectors.

The appointment is one of thirteen recent leadership changes announced by SeamlessHR as the company invests heavily in strengthening its executive capacity to support its ambitious expansion plans.

SeamlessHR said the move reflects its confidence in Akinwale’s proven ability to build strong brands, shape corporate reputation, and deliver business growth. As the company broadens its enterprise technology offerings and deepens its presence across Africa, Akinwale is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing market positioning and stakeholder confidence.
