Amstel Malta lights up eastern Nigeria cities for Christmas season

Amstel Malta has officially ushered in the 2025 Christmas season with breathtaking street light installations that have turned major roads in three eastern Nigerian cities into glowing festive wonderlands.

Thousands of residents, returning diaspora, and visitors turned out between 2–4 December for spectacular lighting ceremonies that marked the launch of the brand’s nationwide campaign themed “Be Your Best All Season Long.”

The dazzling displays form part of Nigerian Breweries’ broader “Legendary Christmas” initiative, aimed at celebrating homecoming, reigniting community bonds, and spreading joy during the most cherished time of the year. Speaking at one of the events, Sarah Agha, Marketing Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said the multi-city celebration reflects the company’s purpose of “brewing the joy of true togetherness.”

“We asked ourselves how we could make this season even more meaningful,” Agha told the cheering crowd. “The answer was clear: light up the cities where our consumers live, love, and come home to. We are grateful for your loyalty and for choosing a brand that inspires Nigerians to show up as their best selves, especially when it matters most.”

The ceremonies drew dignitaries, traditional rulers, government officials, and excited families, while celebrities including actor Stan Nze and reality star Natacha Akide (Tacha) added star power to the celebrations. Consumers thronged the venues to capture the historic moment and share in Amstel Malta’s message of warmth and reconnection.

The festive momentum now shifts to Aba, where Amstel Malta will host the inaugural Amstel Malta Festiville from 23–27 December. The five-day Christmas village will feature a glowing Amstel Malta Grotto, live music, soulful carol nights, a dedicated children’s playground, games arena, art installations, and family-friendly entertainment, creating an immersive space for communities to celebrate togetherness and create lifelong memories.

Lagos residents will also get a taste of the magic when Amstel Malta joins the Lagos Food Fest at Muri Okunola Park on 14 December, blending festive cheer with culinary and musical experiences.
As the illuminated streets continue to sparkle throughout December, Amstel Malta is inviting everyone to visit the installations, take photos, and share them on social media using #LegendaryChristmasNB and @amstelmalta for a chance to win exciting prizes and Christmas surprises.

With lights shining bright from the East to Lagos, Amstel Malta’s 2025 festive campaign is proving that the season is truly brighter when Nigerians come together to Be Their Best All Season Long.
