Melcom opens its 63rd branch at Accra Mall, offers shoppers exciting discounts.

The Melcom Group of Companies has inaugurated its 63rd branch at the Accra Mall, offering shoppers an exciting 20% discount on all products. This new facility is designed to cater to a diverse clientele with a wide range of products, including groceries, household items, electronics, clothing, beauty supplies, and more.

At the launch event in Accra, Managing Director of Melcom Limited, Ramesh Sadhwani,highlighted the significance of the new store, marking a major milestone in the company’s growth and its dedication to providing an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

“The new shop spans a massive 15 square meters of trading space, showcasing approximately 450 consumer merchandise items in a signature Melcom-style setup,” noted Sadhwani. He emphasized Melcom’s vision of delivering more than just products but a shopping experience that is convenient, enjoyable, and effortless, ensuring customers always find what they need and feel valued.

Further underscoring the company’s commitment beyond commerce, Sadhwani mentioned the Melcom Care Foundation’s efforts in supporting local communities through health and education initiatives. “Our annual blood drive, ongoing for the past 15 years, has inspired others to join our efforts to support the National Blood Bank,” he added.

Assistant Asset Manager, Olympia Agbodza, expressed enthusiasm for the future growth of the partnership with Melcom Limited and the upcoming plans for a Melcom store at Achimota Mall. She highlighted the evolving retail landscape in the country and noted that the opening of the new store stands as a testament to the growing strength of local businesses in Ghana’s commercial sector.

She also reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting local enterprises and fostering long-term relationships with homegrown retailers. General Manager, Francis Sam indicated that Melcom is investing in new-look stores with enhanced features and attractions for the convenience of customers and patrons.

He also emphasized that the company’s rebranding efforts are aimed at elevating corporate goals and business direction, focusing on achieving higher standards and providing an excellent customer experience.

The Melcom Group of Companies is composed of five distinct entities: Melcom Limited, Century Industries Limited, Crownstar Electronic Industries Limited, Melcom Travels Limited, and the Melcom Care Foundation. Melcom Limited, the flagship company of the group, is one of Ghana’s premier retail chains.

With a network of 51 retail outlets and 10 cash-and-carry depots spread across Ghana, Melcom has captured an extensive share of the retail market. The group has also diversified into industries such as electronics servicing, plastics manufacturing, and more.
