Uganda: CFAO Mobility Uganda unveils Sh300million Land Cruiser Prado

CFAO Mobility Uganda has introduced the latest addition to the Toyota Land Cruiser family, the All-New Land Cruiser Prado “250 series”. This new model, designed to uphold the brand’s legacy of robustness and reliability, marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the iconic Land Cruiser. Since its inception in 1951, the Land Cruiser has become a symbol of Toyota’s global presence, renowned for its unrivaled reliability, durability, and off-road driving performance.

The All-New Land Cruiser Prado boasts a formidable 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine that delivers 150 kW of power (204 HP) and 500 Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, it ensures an optimal balance between performance and fuel efficiency. Safety features include curtain shield airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Downhill Assist Control (DAC), providing a secure driving experience under any circumstances. The innovative Electric Power Steering (EPS) system enhances the driving experience further.

Edwin Muhumuza, Country Sales Manager at CFAO Mobility Uganda, expressed enthusiasm about the new model, highlighting its blend of heritage and modernity. “The new design has an unmistakably bold, powerful image, providing an overwhelming feeling of stability. We are confident this model will resonate strongly with our customers, offering them the confidence to traverse any terrain easily,” he said. A limited number of Land Cruiser Prado First Edition vehicles, featuring retro-inspired circular headlights and exclusive badging, have been made available to celebrate the launch in Uganda.

CFAO Mobility Uganda is offering a launch promotion of complimentary service for five years or 100,000 km for purchases made until December 31, 2024. The All-New Land Cruiser Prado also comes with a standard three-year manufacturer warranty. Customers can access CFAO’s countrywide network of nine aftersales centers located in Kampala, Namanve, Mbale, Gulu, Arua, Bulisa, Fort Portal, and Mbarara.
