Mdundo Appoints Israel Oladipupo Ogunseye as Senior Manager, Marketing & Partnerships For WA, SA

An African Music service provider, Mdundo has appointed marketing communications professional, Israel Oladipupo Ogunseye, popularly known as “Ladi” as the Senior Manager, Marketing and Partnerships for West Africa and South Africa.

In his new role, Israel will be responsible for developing and managing marketing strategies, campaigns and partnerships in the West and South African music markets.

Prior this new position, he had worked as a Senior Account Director at Yes Websites Digital Agency. He was also a Marketing Manager at Sterling Bank Plc., as well as a Head of Sales and Marketing at CoralPlay Technology (Nig) Limited.

He began his career as an Account Executive at Tecno Mobile Nigeria and steadily climbed the corporate ladder to the position of Senior Marketing Communications Associate before moving to Palmpay as a Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager.

With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Ladi has a passion for helping organizations and solopreneurs achieve clarity and success in their marketing and growth strategies. He believes that the key to effective marketing is not following the latest trends, but rather understanding the needs and desires of your target audience and communicating your value proposition clearly and persuasively.

As an active member of the marketing community and a leader in the digital media space, he is the current President of the Digital Media Practitioners of Nigeria (DMPN), a professional association that promotes ethical and innovative practices in digital media. He also serves on the boards of several companies and organizations, and is a member of the Institute of Data and Marketing, UK. He is also part of the Harvard Business Review Global Advisory Council, where he contributes his insights and opinions on various business topics.

Ladi’s interest in consumer psychology stems from his academic background in Zoology, which he studied at the University of Lagos. He also holds an MBA from the University of South Wales, UK, where he honed his business acumen and leadership skills.

Ladi is always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges. He is looking for opportunities to leverage his expertise and experience to help brands grow and thrive in the competitive and dynamic market.
