Ghana: KFC Opens its 32nd Store at East Legon Hills

Masco Foods Ltd, the franchise owner of KFC Ghana has opened its 32nd store at East Legon Hills (Nmai Dzorn) near Melcom.

The new store was unveiled with KFC’S brand-new fresh and crisp design which is optimized to ensure customer safety and seamless operations.

The new KFC East Legon Hills store offers takeaway, dine in, drive-thru and delivery services. As part of its grand opening, ongoing promos such as the beatbox club, feeli feeli bucket, streetwise and the new range of KFC’s refreshing Krushers can be accessed at the East Legon Hills Store.

The management of Masco Foods took the opportunity to express their gratitude to the Masco Foods staff for their relentless effort in ensuring that the restaurant was opened.

The Marketing Manager of Masco Foods, Chris Addo-Sarkodie in a media interaction, stressed on the importance of the day, adding that the opening of KFC’s 32nd restaurant in the company’s over 10 year of existence in Ghana was indeed a very important milestone.

He acknowledged that although the journey had not always been smooth sailing, the hard work and dedication of the team had taken the company through the tough times.

He assured Ghanaians that KFC still had plans of expanding its brand across the country, adding that Masco foods currently employs over 1000 employees and they expect this number to grow over the course of 2024 as the company expands its operations across the 16 Regions of Ghana.

The Company currently has strong presence in eight (8) Regions of Ghana.

Ghana’s Social Media Influencers, Nana Tea as well as Percy Jackson, popularly known as the “Dancing Teacher” and his crew were in attendance to outdoor the new ultra-modern KFC restaurant at East Legon Hills.

KFC Ghana is a subsidiary of Masco foods; whose parent company is the Mohinani group. The Mohinani group is a third-generation business conglomerate of Indian origin.

Other brands within the group are the Polytank group of Companies, Somotex and Electromart as well as Somoco Ghana, distributors of the Bajaj brand of motorcycles.
