Ghana: Achimota Retail Centre (ARC) launches ‘Easter in the City’ fiesta for family and kids

One of the leading shopping centres in Accra, Achimota Retail Centre management has announced that its patrons and residents in the mall’s catchment communities must prepare to experience an exceptional amusement package specially tailored for the pleasure of family and kids throughout the Easter holidays.

Dubbed ‘Easter in the City’, Achimota Mall has teamed up with seasoned events and games specialists to design and offer patrons, particularly children, what management says will be the most memorable Easter holiday experience for children since the centre opened seven years ago.

“We are dedicating this year’s Easter experience to our youthful patrons, particularly to kids in the family, and hope to engage them with enchanting fun activities while parents and adults savour new recreational offerings under our ‘Easter in the City’ campaign,” Marketing Manager Kobby Ampong said.

“Everything is set for our Easter Fun House, a well-fitted pavilion of fun and amusement where kids can scout for special Easter eggs along a hunting trail and later swap their finds for gifts of candies, confections and other prizes,” the Marketing Manager said as he dropped hints on what to expect from the ‘Easter in the City’ campaign.

The fiesta takes off on Good Friday and will run till Monday, April 10, over which period children will be welcomed to participate in special Easter egg painting and decoration episodes, hang out and take pictures with the Easter bunny mascot, and have fun at a bunny trampoline hopping zone – while their parents and other adults enjoy a sip-and-paint event at the food court area or relax at one of the many cozy points specially set up for Easter recreation.

Located at Dome off the Accra-Nsawam highway, Achimota Retail Centre (Achimota Mall) serves a large cluster of communities in the Ga East Municipality while offering an exciting mix of tenants and services comprising both Ghanaian and international brands.

Over the past seven years, the centre has brought modern, convenient and safe one-stop shopping to families residing in the south-eastern quarter of Accra; including the Kwabenya and Ashongman Estates, Tantra Hills, Ofankor, Dome and the Achimota township.
