Dentsu Creative appoints Paulo Fogaca as the US CEO

Dentsu Creative has appointed Paulo Fogaca as the U.S. Chief Executive Officer to fill the post left by Jon Dupuis who was elevated to a global client’s president role in October.

Paulo will report to both Fred Levron, Dentsu’s global chief creative officer, and Jacki Kelley, Dentsu Americas CEO, and chief global client officer. His immediate remit is to crystalise Dentsu Creative’s vision, strategy, and positioning for the US supercharging growth for the network and its clients. Early days will be spent getting embedded with agency teams and brand leaders to learn more about pressing business imperatives.

He was formerly the global COO and managing partner at GUT for nearly three years, his over twenty-five years career has helped activate ‘Google Home of the Whopper,’ causing pure chaos with a 15-second spot. He also put out a call for burger peace (sort of) between Burger King and McDonald’s with the ‘McWhopper’ in partnership with YR New Zealand.
