TrustBanc Holdings appoints Chinwendu Ohakpougwu as Head, Marketing & Communications

TrustBanc Holdings, a brand investment management firm that creates, nurtures and preserves wealth has appointed Chinwendu Ohakpougwu, a financial communications and marketing professional as its Head, Marketing & Communication.

In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping TrustBanc brand, drive impactful campaigns and oversee strategic communications.

While making the announcement on her LinkedIn page, she wrote, “I’m excited to resume at TrustBanc Holdings as Head, Marketing and Communications. I look forward to working with my new boss, Mr Abubakar Jimoh (who doubles as the current Chairman of Access Corporation) and the rest of the team at TrustBanc Holdings.”

Prior to her appointment, she was Group Head, Corporate Communications and Marketing at DLM Capital where she was charged to be the lead for strategic communications for DLM Capital Group across all its offices to promote the Group as a first-class destination for both development finance and banking.

Chinwendu is an experienced financial communications professional, providing deep sector knowledge with a breadth of public relations and marketing which enables her to solve complex communications challenges.

She is a dedicated and results-driven marketing professional with a proven track record in developing and executing strategic marketing and communication initiatives that build brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and leads high-performing teams to results.

Chinwendu started her career as a Reporter as Sahara Reporters Media Group, and then moved to Chimamamda Ngozi Agochie as the Communications Assistant. At Renmoney, Chinwendu served as Corporate Communications Officer with the responsibility of managing the daily PR activities of Renmoney Microfinance Bank.

At Hill+Knowlton Strategies, she served as Senior Account Executive with the responsibility of managing the day-to-day PR account activities for FBNQuest, Visa, WorldRemit, Standard Chartered, AgustoandCo, and WARIF.

Chinwendu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from National Open University of Nigeria as well as a Diploma in Media Studies from Saylor Foundation. She is also certified as a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
